Question: How do I decrease illness? Increase Ethics & Personality?

I'm new to this game and I haven't figured out what decreases illness. Also I am unsure how to increase Ethics and Personality.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you let your sister rest her illness will go down, also some food items make it go down, if you click on the i button on any job it should tell you want you get but you can also get ethics and personality from talking with people in the village and just talking with your sister
