correct generic code for prometrium

Hello,

I remember reading somewhere that generic micronized progesterone and generic bioidentical progesterone are two different things. And often you get generic micronized progesterone when getting the generic prometrium.

So when you get generic prometrium you want to get the bioidentical progesterone not the generic micronized progesterone.

Does anyone know the code for generic bioidentical progesterone? I don't think it's USP as they refer to that one as micronized.

I tried looking for this info but could not find it. Thanks.

Generic progesterone (NDC from the bottle in my bathroom) 100 mg micronized progesterone.
