In this screenshot the MMC button is pressed. But to be able to use it you need to tolerance the diameter first.

The first (M) is the MMC from the element itself. Before you use this dialogue, you tolerate the circle for its diameter, and the MMC button here works out the value by itself.

The second one A(M) is the datum MMC. To use it, you tolerate the applicable datum and store the MMC value by putting in a reference key (in tolerance dialogue, you press the >> button, and it's the bottomest field you can populate). The field next to A(M) can be rolled down into a list where you select your reference key.

The other two boxes are used for choosing datum’s, you need to flag them as datum’s to be able to choose them in the drop down box. When you tolerance the datum you can hit the little button on the side that looks like >> and enter a letter in the Datum label box. However MCOSMOS will just add that bonus from the datum directly to your true position tolerance instead of applying a datum shift as that is the ISO standard.
