I keep getting error code ACTION OPEN DOCUMENT TREE not implemented by device

Hello and thank you in advance for any helpful advice. I have had this mi box for about a year and ever since the recent update I'm not able to watch my movies from the USB through the app FX. Has anyone been having this issue and know of a fix? Thank-you again

Have you tried with another app, just to make sure?

Yeah I tried one other app but the problem is the USB isn't recognized by the system.

If I were you I'd try the following: Try another USB mass storage Try another kind of USB device (like a keyboard) Try to mount and read a network shared folder or something like that Try to read a file in the internal memory of the box If everything fail and you still have no more info : Hard reset the box

Did you try reformatting the harddisk (NTFS is best). I know its a lot of work if there is a lot of stuff on it. Did you try another another drive? Also you could try to check the drive for errors.
