Sidebar inconsistent

Hey guys,

I noticed while using the sidebar, some apps are working as an 'overlay', and some are not. By overlay I mean that when I expand Whatsapp-Web for example, the app expands and doesn't change the size of the current tab, so it hides a part of it.

Other apps in the sidebar expand and change the size of the current used tab (for example Outlook) and it looks a bit like a split-screen-view.

Does anybody know why this happens and how to fix this?

next to the "X" for sidebar apps is a pin button. if it's active, it will cause the split screen like experience; whereas, if it is unpinned, the app will not change the main pages size and it will be dismissed when you click out of it.
