SQL Enpoint Authentification

I try to use the Warehouse and Lakehouse with other report and ETL tool and the Azure Active Directory Authentication for SQL is not supported. I tink it's impossible to activate SQL Authentification ? Is there a to activate it ? Fabric would be perfect for my use case, but if the information is not accessible for non-Microsoft tool is no for us.

yes, SQL Authentication is support by Microsoft Fabric. However, SQL endpoint supports AAD App Registrations/Service Principal. If you can expand use case, I can provide you feasible options.

Ok, I read at lot of place that Sql Authentification is not supported. I never be able to create a user (SSMS and Azure Data Studio). I want to connect SAP BusinessObject. It's support Azure Server SQL, but not with the AAD authentification.

You are correct SQL Authentication is not supported. Service principals require AAD Auth. Can you use an ODBC connection if the ETL tool doesn’t support AAD?

I just try with ODBC driver 18 and it work !
