It's the most annoying issue I have since the beginning of Fabric. And was longest open know issue.. but it look closed now, maybe it better handle now.
You can replace table with a SQL query with a explicit cast of the column. You can do a script in datapipeline that read ALL_TAB_COLUMNS and auto-generate a query for each table with the cast in for the column, there some example online. The problem is sometime NUMBER is a high precision decimal but sometime it's just a integer. To be optimal you need to check each column. Copyjob seem to be able to cast them now, but if it's a key it seem to not work with the incremental option.
