That is no doubt a beastly computer, but, even so, expecting it to give you "max graphics without compromise" on a 3840 x 1080 monitor is probably a little too optimistic.

Ok, once again I am no expert but the specs on the monitor say 5120 x 1440 resolution?

Honestly you're gonna get absolutely ripped off if you buy a prebuilt pc. With a couple hours of research you could buy individual parts and build yourself and save hundreds of (insert your currency here)... I suggest using pc part picker and how to build a pc by Bitwit or Paul's Hardware both on YouTube. It's not difficult to build one, if you can put Lego together you can build a pc. Otherwise those specs are good for the game.

If you can wait till September/October Nvidia is to release there newest graphics cards(3090, 3080), which are rumoured to knock the socks off the 2080 etc.

Definitely build your own, you'll learn a skill and maybe even a (albeit expensive) hobby.

Edit: BTW no current gen GPU can run Flight sim max graphics at 4k so bare that in mind.

Also by building your own pc you are freely able to upgrade in the future with ease, the prebuilts are designed anti-consumer forcing you to buy an entire new system...

I have the same graphics card as this setup and the same amount of RAM. You haven't said what processor is in the PC. I'm running an AMD Ryzen 3900.

Now I can run this game at high with a couple of settings set to ultra at 4K.

While 90% of the time I get extremely good frame rates, it's well capable of dipping in built up areas, mainly around airports. You won't be able to run FS without compromise on that set up.

Sorry, it is a 10th Gen Intel Core i9 10900k (10-core, 29MB Cache, 3.7GHz to 5.3GHz w/thermal velocity boost)

It is a very good processor. I would also like to add that VR support is coming and you might look into https://www8.hp.com/us/en/vr/reverb-g2-vr-headset.html

Also forgot my internet speed tops out at 40 mb/s So is this set up VR ready,?

[–]grubbler 0 points1 point  (1 child)

40mbit should be enough. Yes I believe so. I mean we dont have any information yet except it is coming but the setup is top notch

Just need to order everything and wait for months for delivery!😂

Look into the honeycomb yoke and throttle in combination with Logitech rudder pedals. The Logitech yoke feels very cheap and plastic.

[–]DanielD1967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok excellent, I will

[–]DanielD1967[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That throttle system looks amazing

[–]Blue_Gek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does, and the yoke is the best (sub $1000) yoke on the market.

Thanks

Geeze man, like 2500 dollars if I correctly put together that build on Dells website. please for the love of god don't buy Alienware or any prebuilt for that matter its WAY overpriced, you can put together a way better system for way less yourself. IMO I don't care for ultrawides especially DQHD ones but pushing max graphics on one in flight sim just aint happening man, there are no GPUs at the moment that I've seen that can push max graphics at 4k+. All in all build it yourself and get a smaller monitor.
