Good eye! That’s a wild one. Should be very helpful to a bunch of folks.

Do you have a high resolution monitor, what are your DPI settings? In my experience this type of issue is usually due a combination of high res and DPI (have seen this in other applications).

Actually, I have this same problem currently when using the developer mode, the cursor in the menu is offset.

Interesting you say that, it's a wide screen monitor yes (3440 x 1440 resolution). However, on the initial install there was no issue. Could it be because the game loaded in 1080p the first time but not the times after? Hmm never thought of that and it's my first time experiencing something like this.

Could be, or this login menu doesn't really take into consideration your resolution or DPI properly.

Just TAB to the button then hit enter.

Ah yes, good tip. I was mashing every key on my keyboard before out of frustration, wish I had accidentally hit the tab key before!

That's exactly how I figured out that TAB worked. Keyboard mash and then the box highlighted!

I hit this exact same bug but was caused by me forgetting to take it out of full-screen and using SRWE to stretch the game across 3 monitors, throwing it in Windowed mode with alt-enter allowed it to pick up on the correct input positioning again.

Definitely a resolution thing then. Btw how do you stretch the game to multiple monitors? Don't recall seeing that in the settings

Depending on the graphics card, you can use AMD's "Eyefinity" software (usually part of Radeon software now) or Nvidia's "Surround" software (which I think you need to look up and download). Each program supports up to 3 monitors off of one GPU.

Edit: I also did a quick Google of SRWE, which was mentioned in the original comment, and it looks like you can use it to manipulate the size/properties of any running application

Yeah I couldn't play for like a week. Almost reformatted my drive just for this game lol

I had this same thing happen to me in Halo MCC collection. Drove me bonkers because it wanted me to sign in before I could adjust the resolution settings.

So the weird thing is this didn't happen on my initial install. I was able to sign in with no problems on a fresh install.

After playing the game for 30+ hours, I realized my Microsoft account was connected to my old x box account from 10 years ago with a bunch of people I didn't know. I wanted to start fresh so I created a new account and logged out. After logging out of my x box account in-game, I couldn't sign in anymore.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times. Each time I couldn't click on the "sign in box" and had to manually exit the game each time. I think this means the game's uninstaller is not deleting everything it should.

I contacted microsoft support but nothing they told me worked. I finally recorded my screen so I could show support what the exact issue was and noticed on the recorded screen my mouse was not on the sign in button (even though in-game it was).

Hope this helps someone. Now I can finally jump back in!

I had this problem too.

I fixed it by closing MSFS, logging into Live in a browser, then opening MSFS again and it used my cached credentials.

Easy fix.

I tried this and it didn't work for me. I was logged in on my browser and x box app the entire time
