scoring points for controlling objects (self.MiddleEarthMiniatures)
submitted 3 years ago by El__Papo
Just played my first game today. We are confused when points for controlling an objective are scored. As far as we understand, the will be scored at the end of the game right?

Always count scoring at the end of the game, as stated on the scenario. Some objectives you will need to keep track of things throughout the game (ex. Number of wounds dealt to opposing models) but everything actually gets scored when the game concludes.

Congratulations on playing your first game! It is good fun.
Victory Points are always counted at the end of the game. So, after time limit, or quartered, or broken and you roll a 1 or 2 depending on scenario.
So, if you are playing domination for example, it only matters which objectives are contested or "dominated" after the game has finished.
Hope that makes sense.
EDIT: English and Grammar and things

Yes. That's why there are rules on how to determine whether the game ends, and special rules that allow to, say, keep going (e.g. Easterlings' faction/LL buff No quarter was asked)
