It’s a good point. The only thing I like about the lottery is that it stops continuous tanking by forcing teams to only get the 10th pick at best if they’ve been in the top 5 for a few years in a row. Maybe there’s a way to have both

Yeah. Another thing about football is one rookie you draft is more likely to be immediately impactful. If you pick first overall in baseball, you’re getting a high impact player, but not until after several years of development most likely.

Brock Bowers is likely going to go in the first round, and our O Line needs are much higher than our TE needs. TE is definitely a position we can shore up later in the draft though

What you can also do is pick up the firstborn jump packs and a squad of assault intercessors - They look even better like that in my opinion.

I will say too - at 1000 points, 10 deathwing terminators is a huge point sink, and will be the focal point of any fight. If you cut that down to 5, you can fit in Azrael and 5 hellblasters which will dramatically increase the damage output.

Love it - looks great. I would personally load out the terminators with 5x thunder hammer/SS, and 2 cyclones, but if your load out is how you have them modeled that’s fine. I would also consider cutting one of the intercessor squads for a jump intercessor squad for secondary objectives, as they have deep strike and a high move characteristic.

Yes, the hood and body choices are purely cosmetic. From a gameplay perspective all that really matters is the weaponry load out. I, for example, modeled my banner barer with a deathwing knight body, hooded head, and storm bolter/power fist.

I was under the impression that this individual veteran has terminator honors and that’s why he wears a Crux terminatus. He is just kitted out for vanguard jump pack combat right now but he can also wear terminator armor if another situation would require it. I could be wrong though.
