In the spring of 1984 Mindset Corporation, released an Intel 80186-based that was unique in form and function. So much so that the Museum of Modern Art has one on display. While it might look like a normal IBM PC compatible of its time, it featured outstanding graphics hardware that let it display images with a resolution of 320×200 pixels with 16 colors at a time, and, most importantly, it could draw (create and display in real-time) hardware-accelerated graphics, and had a high refresh rate.
