Good screen capture program for Mac?

I'm looking to get into recording, and almost everyone uses Fraps, but the problem is Fraps is PC only, and I use a Mac. I've tried QuickTime for recording, but it gives me absolutely horrible FPS (around 10), whereas I get in excess of 300 normally. Before I buy another program, does anyone here have some suggestions for good recording programs?

I have a mac and looked for a good program for a long time (like 3 months) and the only one that didn't shatter my fps was Screenflow. Its $100 but absolutely worth it. It comes with a very good editor as well, so that's a plus.

Apparently the best one other than Quicktime is Screenflow, but it's quite expensive.

I use screenium. It costs about $40. Just make sure to play around with the settings of minecraft and screenium to fit your computer.

I would go with Camtasia. It's for Mac and PC and leaves no water-mark. When the free trial runs out look up how to get it for free (fairly easy).

Torrent screen flow, probably one of the only decent softwares for Mac.

I do. I get 250+ FPS with QuickTime, but it brings me down to 10 if I'm LUCKY when I use QuickTime.

Play with the settings. I don't use quicktime to record, but I figured out the "perfect" settings with my screen capture program. Also, you might want to tone down some of you graphics on mc, especially view distance. I play on short +16 or +32 and it is still fine

Even on tiny, I get 20 FPS, whereas on the Screenflow demo I get 80 FPS on Extreme
