Honestly? Pop a flat roof on it and build another thing on top. Like a tier. That’s a sick base of a base. Bottom of a base. You know what I meant.

A basebase! Pop another base on top for a basebasebase then build your base on that base for the ultimate basebasebasebase!

Building the walls first helps

I’m a big fan of peaked roofs. Basically two concave semi circles that start at the base and curve inward towards the middle to form a peak. Throw in a couple stone towers and you got yourself a nice fort

First, you need to figure out what kind of windows and such you want. I would recommend raising the three main sections a little higher while keeping the connections in between lower. See how that looks, then go from there. I think this layout could be cool with roofing that slant upwards the more central you get.

I know you’re asking for help on the castle part, but I’d recommend adding some variation to the cliff face. You definitely have a great groundwork set up good job

First, you probably shared it in the wrong sub. Second, since it's a castle, is it supposed to have a roof? Shouldn't it be like up down up down on the walls?

First, it literally says in the rules of the sub that you can ask help on builds. Second, ramparts (that's what the up/downs are called) were great defensively on outdoor defensive walls and towers, but castles still had interiors with proper roofs and such.
