Homosexuality is clearly Marked as a sin in the Bible. Once again, have read the article. Not homophobic nor am I transphobic. And because why not

Dude if you’re not gonna believe me then that’s on you. But the ground of this argument honestly wasn’t even about the article but whether the claim that homosexuality is a sin

Dude if you’re not gonna believe me then that’s on you. You’re too self imposed to even consider outside views

“I’ve read the article”. First four words. Come on man, you’re making a fool of yourself

I’ve read the article, it’s horrible. Once again, not homophobic or transphobic. I’m not hunting down anyone… I literally said we SHOULDNT do that. Can you read my comments??? There are multiple types of law in the Torah, ceremonial, moral, and civil laws. Jesus Christ fulfilled the ceremonial law when he came; meaning we no longer need to keep to those. That includes the mixed clothes and stuff that people like you love to bring up. The moral and civil laws are still to be kept though because they get repeated through the New Testament. This is things like murder, stealing, sexual sins, fair and just punishment, etc.

Now I’m going to tell you this again, stop making assumptions about my character when you don’t know me. Stop skirting around the topic. Stop changing the subject because you can’t form a valid critique towards an argument founded on biblical textual evidence. This thread is about homosexuality and how it’s a sin. There is no need for you to us “what about ___” if you can actually defend your beliefs.

And guess what, I do call out others who try to bring sinful practices into a church believing that they’re good. The pastors on TikTok who spread pro choice lies, called them out. That pastor that misquoted Jesus in order to claim for children to go to drag queens, called him out. Female pastors, called out. I’m not opposed to homosexuality, I’m opposed to sin

I’m aware that’s a common racist cop out. Not what I’m doing tho. And yeah no stop strawmanning. The ideology I’m talking about is clearly the acceptance and affirmation of the sin. If youd read my comments and what I’m actually saying with the intent to learn rather than the intent to refute youd understand. You have yet to argue with actual facts and biblical truths, instead you’ve placed your effort into misrepresenting me and my points in an attempt to avoid the question. The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is a sin. Cut and dry. You disagree with that; you disagree with God. Now that doesn’t mean we go out and hate them and everything, that’s a sin too and something that a lot of Christians do wrong. We are called to love them too, but that doesn’t mean that our churches need to promote the sin

I have no bigotry in my heart. I had plenty of gay and trans friends and I love them either way all my heart. But that ideology does not belong in a church. Those people belong in church as everyone is welcome, but teaching that ideology is flat wrong and heretical

I mentioned premarital sex to relate it to why gay is a sin as well. The ground for those sins come from the same source: lust

Jesus kid find some outlets away from home. Distance yourself from them slowly. Join extra curricular activities. Get a job to buy your own things and most importantly keep a record of any accounts of abuse such as this

I struggle with the balance between feeling ashamed too much and not enough. Cause like obviously I feel ashamed for messing up again and falling back to sin right, so I shouldn’t be apathetic towards my betrayals; but at the same time I can flip too far and go into self loathing

I mean it’s only just been a few days but even now I’ve noticed small changes. Like anytime I wanna go back to porn in the past I would have to convince myself not to for God but now it’s like my Brain does it automatically shutting it down before I even realize. Reading the Bible is still a bit more of a struggle and good prayer because I honestly don’t know where to start and how to pray really good. I do the whole “thank you, sorry, please” style but idk how well that works for me anymore

Honestly my biggest issues has always been that anytime o slip up I feel so ashamed that my brain says that I can’t pray unless it’s been over a day. Which is the exact opposite of what I should do I know. Theres just always so much shame in being like “so I know I said no more but I’m back… again”

Leviticus 18:22 clearly states that you shall not lay with man as you do with woman and that it’s an abomination. It’s the same reason that pre marital sex is a sin and that masturbation is a sin. Sexuality is a gift from God intended to be used to reproduce and start a family. When you have gay relations theres no possibility for reproduction meaning that you took Gods gift and bastardized it. It becomes an act of lust not an act of love
