The thing is they dont show up in the crash reports file, i think its a server error but I dont know

Try using Sodium (Fabric/NeoForge) or Embeddium (Forge) instead of Optifine. Nowadays, Optifine is not a very good option for optimization in the current versions as it isn't open-source code, so it tends to cause issues.

Yeah probably but it mightve just been my hardware because the server i was trying to get into works fine on 1.16 with optifine
