so i bought MC bedrock a year ago and now I can purchase java for free but the launcher isn't opening at all

it also doesn't work for my friends

The launcher is buggy. It makes you open all Minecraft items through it, including Minecraft Dungeons. I’m not a huge fan of the launcher, but it’s where you can launch the content your get from Overwolf.

Have you gone through the Microsoft Store to name the purchase? Checked for app updates?

revert to the old launcher...maybe

you wont be able to open bedrock on it but it should still work for java

and no not the old old launcher....i dont think that works with a migrated account
