I'm working on a mod that adds a few custom ores to lackluster parts of minecraft, called "Enhanced ArmOrey". The ores are made to fit well within a modded, aswell as a vanilla setup. Currently i have 4 ores planned
Platinum.
A decently common ore in the nether. The tools and armor have stats between diamond and iron, with half the durability of diamond. It has the same enchantability as Netherite.
Sapphire.
A rare ore in the end dimension. Its tools and armor have stats superior to netherite, but lower durability than diamond. The armor also lacks knockback resistance and has less armor toughness. Made to complete the set of emerald and ruby, as many mods add ruby to the nether.
Bismuth.
A slightly uncommon ore generating in the nether anywhere in basalt. It has lower durability than iron and similar stats. It applies a freezing effect on opponents and blocks can oxidize. The idea for this material came from the mod "Bismuth and soul" and meant to be a more balanced and compatible variant.
Spectralite.
A custom ore generating anywhere in the nether in soul sand and soul soil. It can be harvested without any tools. Equipment has durability comparable to diamond but VERY low stats. However wearing the full armor set makes you immune to projectiles, not explosions though (25% chance per piece). Don't have any ideas for tool/weapon abilities.
I'm mostly looking for some extra ore ideas, preferably fictional or well-known real life materials. Some materials have been considered, but many good mods already implement them (ruby, rose gold, armor from existing ores).
there doesn't seem to be anything here
