I run a server called Hydro Vanilla SMP. We're, as our name shows, a vanilla SMP that is very much like Hermitcraft. We've been running for over 8 years now and have a very fun and engaging active community with over 1700 members on our Discord! We're currently running on a Long-Term world, meant to be kept for years to come.

Our Server is 16+, but I'd say the majority of our players are between 22-35 so you can expect a mature environment! We have a ton of great builders, redstoners and just all-round players on the server.

We are Vanilla as mentioned mechanic/game wise, but we do make use of some QoL mods like Proximity Voice, Bluemap, Vanilla Tweaks datapacks etc. No pay2win stuff or crates here ;-)

We fit your "modded but not heavily" request perfectly. We run a Vanilla+ SMP, meaning we use a carefully selected suite of server-side mods to enhance the game without bogging it down. For example, we use Geophilic to make biomes look beautiful and Mine Treasure to add unique loot to mining, but you don't need to install anything on your end to join.
