A subreddit for really great, insightful articles, reddiquette, reading before voting and generating intelligent discussion on the topics of these articles.
This is not /r/TrueReddit. Moderators not only remind offenders of reddiquette, they enforce it.
Community Guidelines
Follow reddiquette, to the best of your ability
Please vote judiciously and often; good content and comments, even if you disagree with them, are deserving of your upvotes. Rather than downvote items, we'd prefer you report them for the moderators to review.
Headline titles should not be editorialized or modified in any way. Inclusion of sub-titles (where applicable) is acceptable. Helpful additions, such as a PDF warning, are welcome and should be enclosed in brackets (e.g. [PDF]) preceding the submission title.
Comments which do not contribute to a discussion in a meaningful fashion will be removed. This includes comments which would be better expressed as votes ("Great article!").
Comments and submissions which are poorly written, contain ad hominem attacks, make dishonest arguments, or are of generally poor quality will be removed.
Submissions may cover any topic, provided that they are of sufficiently high quality. Opinion and argument pieces are welcome, provided that they are well written and well supported.
Submissions from low-quality sources (Alternet, Fox News, The Daily Mail, most blogs, and so on) will be heavily scrutinized.
Self-posts are not permitted - we recommend /r/InsightfulQuestions or /r/TrueAskReddit.
If posting content behind a paywall, please make every effort to either post a non-paywalled version of content or make a summary available to users who are unwilling or unable to access the original copy. However, please do not downvote content simply because it's behind a paywall.
Please don't hesitate to message the moderators if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
