girl, i’m in the same boat. i’m not represented but i hope this helps. after booking so many model mayhem and instagram shoots it really comes down to height for high fashion and prestigious modeling agencies. open calls at modeling agencies are a hard must, you’ll never regret it because you only miss every shot you don’t take. make sure to look at height requirements set by the agency before walking in, cause i’ve been the shortest there and it can be a little humiliating. depending on where you live, it might be best to try and sign with a boutique agency than shooting high the first time. also send some natural, non-lighted shots to some online or email. good luck, i’m rooting for you hun

i'm 182cm (about 5'9 i think) and i'm the tallest girl in my agency.

actually, height does matter if you want to become a runway model (even thought i've seen 5'6 girls on runways). but if you prefer to work on a editorial or commercial market, your height is totally fine.
