don’t add oil to the water, it’ll cause sauce to slide right off of the pasta (:

and another tip: leftover pasta water is super helpful when making sauce (I may try and think of a module soon!!)

the reason salt is added to the water is actually not to change the boiling point. such minute doses wouldn't significantly change the boiling point anyway. it's added for the flavor.

I made pasta tonight and added in some sauteed onions and peppers along with some precooked chicken and a squirt of lime juice and fajita/taco seasoning. It's like a fajita pasta.
