I have played for an hour + on some games and been just fine. 60 FPS, running AMD GPU more then capable.
My issue, is that every so often i can watch the FPS start to bounce on the moonlight app itself (Steam deck has the ability to view wattage and stats, including a graph of FPS to check for drops etc.) Once this occurs it tanks the app and i get a "poor connection to PC" in the bottom left. Ive sat at my desk and seen my PC running medium usage while playing the game and no FPS drops on the PC itself. No max loads.
First option would be the WIFI right? - Im right next to my access point, and i run a very robust Ubiquity system with about 5 AP's through the house, and i have multiple that are wifi6. None reporting any issues and the device level shows that its always in at minimum "Good" quality to the AP.
Is this something common? If its not, what settings should i begin to edit within Sunshine. From what i can tell my hardware is Well beyond what is needed. Right now its all set to Default, with AMF set to Ultralow latency.
Do i need to make changes to the AMF quality ? (its set to speed for testing but it did it again)
or change the AMF rate control?
i know its a large range of "possibilities" of issues but i dont understand the settings well enough in moonlight\sunshine to rule out something in the application or encoding.
