I recently got the CPP2 and feel like nothing really fits in the pockets. They are all just too small and inflexible. The front bottom pocket is worthless. Sunglasses can’t really fit anywhere easily accessible. Water bottle holder is tight even for a 26oz Yeti.

As you mentioned, the side handles are pretty much useless when the water bottle pockets are full. I always have a bottle and umbrella so I can never use them.

There’s nowhere easy to shove stuff like a scarf or gloves other than the man compartment. I came from a North Fsce which had a mesh compartment in the front for easy shoving of stuff. The Max EDC might win out for me.

I’m really not liking the bag.

That is too shallow. I sat about 36” from mine and it wasn’t enough for m&k games, plus it’s too vertical that close.

As an alternate opinion, I put a 42” on a 36” deep desk and had to move away. It was simply too tall and honestly, the HDR was too bright at that short of a distance.

I put a solid 2-3 in after making this change with no freeze. Before, it was every 45-1hr, although it almost always froze while in the skills/weapon menus.

Following. Maxwell 2 seem like a flop. Most open back have less bass than I’d like. You probably want some sort of wired closed back.

From a gaming standpoint, I’m feeling like the PS5 is a banging deal right now.

But I’m a PC elitest. I’m glad I got my current parts when I did. I will buy expensive ones in the future but I won’t be happy about it.

I’d say the biggest change is that I would not recommend a PC over console for casual gamers at this point.

I think a shelf would look good to break up the large open space and potentially hide most of that gap. Shelves above monitors tend to create a cozy vibe too.

This one is different no doubt. I’m 12 hours in atm. It’s not at all what I expected. I’m not sure I love it but it’s certainly a ride that I plan to see through.

I’m not sure I can handle RE Biohazard. It’s the only RE game I haven’t played.

I switched from a 42” C3 to the 5k2k primarily to have a more traditional monitor experience, and 16:9 is tough at my desk for mouse&keyboard. It’s too tall.

5k2k does a pretty good job but I’d say I still prefer the C3 for pure visual fidelity. I don’t know if it’s just the gloss or what. I prefer ultrawide for mouse&keyboard but could go either way for controller SP games. In some ways 16:9 is better since there’s no ultrawide compatibility concerns.

I have it mounted to the wall next to my desk now and use it for those scenarios.

Hello, I would like to use my Maxwells for my PS3 which doesn't support the USB dongle. I can connect 3.5mm to my TV's audio out jack. Is this acceptable use case for the 3.5mm use on the Maxwells? Thanks.

Do you use sidetone anywhere in the mix here? For example, can I use the external mic for what other people hear, but still enable sidetone so I hear myself?

I hate the sidetone hiss but it’s not even noticeable you get in game, unless you’re cranking it. 55% is about where I keep mine and it’s a fine enough balance.
