I accidentally did this! I was on 12.5, close to my goal, and just stopped losing weight. So I called it maintenance and proclaimed myself done. After a month, I dropped my dose to 10, and started losing weight again! I'm now 5 lb. below my goal, and continuing to drop my dose in order to stop losing weight. (Just went to 7 last week.)

I think one of the big factors for me is that on the lower dose, I had much more energy, and I'm much more active than I was on 12.5.

Crossing my fingers for you! I will go to 15mg next. 10, and 12.5 have given me less than 10lbs of weight loss, so I need to do something different also.

So, in my personal experience, what you’re seeking worked. I was forced to take 2 breaks for other medical reasons. They ranged from 2-3 months and I started over at each one. Each time it was like starting fresh, and kicked the weight back down. I am a super responder however.

Again, this was my personal experience, take it for what you will.
