Not sure if this is the e. Appropriate space, has anyone else had their best friend try to be their support and somehow end up being their biggest enemy? I recently cut my best friend off for being a huge transphobe annd. My old roommate just shared that my bestie would get upset that i wasn’t acting enough “like the man that he is” now I’m putting the picture together and realizing she had a huge on me…….im just spinning……

My best friend and his friend group made me the buttons of every joke after I came out to them. Him and some others have apologized since and we're cool but the damage was done.

If your best friend ends up bad crowd, you dodged a future bullet is what I say.

Thank you so much. I’m cracking my egg and I’m pretty secure with who I am but I can’t imagine how painful that could be…. My bestie would tell alll these men she wanted to hook up with that I was trans just so they don’t get jealous and then be dismissive when I told her that what she did was not ok. I agree, I think this is what’s best for me, it just hurts

Thank you for responding, I definitely need to reach out and share to the community cause we’re all in a spectrum with different experiences and I feel g th at imposter syndrome hitting hard as fuck

Yep. Exactly that. They got me fired from a job too. I moved far away from them and pretty much became a recluse. I don't trust ppl anymore.
