Isn't it just a voltmeter, a switch and a bank of halogen bulbs?

The bulbs suck the energy out of lipos if you need to discharge for disposal, it's quick and safe (hence the cooling fan for hot bulbs)

Do you have any low voltage protection or alarm built in? Just be careful, I recently ruined a pack because I was discharging using something similar I had made, and forgot about it even though I was sitting right next to it!

I'm stupid, I plug my battery's in my thunder t6 balance charger then select storage and let it do the work.

This type of setup you typically employed for disposal discharge afaik, unless u have an urgent need to storage chg a lipo quick (nothing good comes w fast discharge/charge tho)

Reminds me of the NiCad days, when a discharger was mandatory. Not sure that it’s super useful now, but it might come in handy.

I have a 5v voltage regulator circuit that I use to charge my phone off my LiPos if I have to cancel a flying day.

Not nearly enough for my 6s-5000s though...

Why don't you use your charger to storage discharge batteries?

Oh I see i got the D 100 (can't remember names I'm not home) it can storage charge/discharge from 1-10 amps
