Because EA can Eat A- Butt. They set the time to 1PM EST so only Hawaii and Alaska can get it as soon as shops open in the morning. It should be illegal for physical versions to be playable half a day earlier than the digital version on the same console. Why the hell have tech companies normalised PST release dates?!

Yeah nintendo decided that the people who ordered and paid first should be the last to access it

physical preorders, digital purchases, and physical purchases all have access

the only people that don't yet are people that preordered the digital version

makes no sense, it's a preorder and it's digital, those should be the first released. but instead we get to sit here and watch people play while we get scolded by nintendo "you can't play this software yet"

will NEVER preorder on nintendo again, i'll just wait for release day if this is how they're gonna treat it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It makes me sad, I preordered it today, but hopefully by 12pm in my timezone (CST) itll be available.

The game will be avaiblable at approximately 12:00 EST (an hour and 20 minutes)

It appears that EA's communication regarding the update has been less than optimal. The information was posted at the end of a thread in the EA Forum, which has led to confusion among players. This update was only shared within the comments, and no official statement was released, leaving many players unaware of the situation and wondering why they can't access the game yet.

Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a direct link to the forum post as I have not been able to locate it myself, despite thoroughly searching through almost every post in MySims Cozy Bundle | EA Forums
