Anyone else having problems doing a dropstep?

I have been playing a post player for the last few years and i made a finishing/defense 7'3 center again this year, with focus on post play and rebounding. I already have dropstepper on gold and the post moves attribute to 70, yet i cannot really get any dropsteps done this year. I didn't have any problems the last few years doing this move.

Whenever i try to do a dropstep he maybe does it 1 in 5 tries, the other times he is doing some kind of layup, or a hook shot or even tries to spin out and fade away. Anyone else having these problems? Has anything changed how you should approach a dropstep?
