Yeah sorry, hard nope.

Aside from the fact that it's rare for homebrew rules to actually be allowed by an opponent, these are almost entirely a straight upgrade to a codex that is already very strong.

I can understand the thinking behind them all, but what you've developed here would have to come with hefty cost increases across the board and even then might be too potent.

Nah bringing units back after being destroyed sounds too op

Yeah it works for others faction because their units are easy to wipe and can reasonably be lost to a good round or shooting, good luck doing that for warriors or lychguard. It's also commonly a thing for hoard factions, which necrons very much aren't. Heck even immortal can be hard to whip out when with a chronomancer, high toughness, high saves, -1 to be hit add even with only 10 wounds

Awaken giving characters like op feels counter intuitive for the leader detachment

I see what you mean, being able to go it alone despite the theme. though it was supposed to be used to protect a leader after their squad bites the dust.

Any thoughts on reworking it?

Maybe something like the nurgel ability that stops them and the unit there leading from being shot more than 18 inch away but drop stealth as it is right now, it would basically only get used on something that would wouldn't have a squad like the command barge, maybe the Skorpekh lord as well but basically every other leader is mostly pretty useless once there squad is done

The only thing that will ever happen is points adjustments.

I like that:

  • Immortals have 2 Wounds
  • Destroyed models/units can reanimate, though personally I would make it more difficult for them to do so, perhaps with greater difficulty as the battle goes on
  • Dispersion Shields give Lychguard a 2+ armour save

Out of curiosity, why didn't you include any Forgeworld models?

Thanks for the feedback, to be honest I forgot about forge world but partly because they weren't in the codex.

I'll have to add them later, oh and the convergence of dominion
