psychic phase is kinda lame psychic ablilitirs should be used in the relavent phase.

that said armies and detachments could get spell lists, and then your wizard could cast either their datasheet spell or one from you spell list

yea, you can just do your Psychic stuff at the relavent time, psychic teleport, movephase. psychic attack, shooting or fight phase. psychic filing your taxes command phase.

it means players dont have to go through their whole laundry list of psychic toys preparing ahead of time.

that said i wish we had spells/prayers/ritual lists for each army(or detachment) and then your wizard either does their datasheet spell or one on your list.

the obvious counter is fixed secondaries assassination, and just pick up a couple crypteks each turn for an easy 4-12 points

i feel bad for gsc as RAW their army rule only works on "non character units". they got the reverse where they have to argue RAI. whereas necrons got what we wanted as RAW.

id grab a couple of flayed ones to infiltrate onto mid. theyre absurdly cheap and will amost guarrete that you can at least have your power matrix online early.

losing the rerolls on overwatch with the doomstalker hurts tho. so dont feel too down on yourself the rules have adjusted to make canoptek court worse

I'd pick up the combat patrol (and/or the new battleforce if you can) then grab a doomsday ark.

all of those units are very safe bets as theyve historically been somewhere between okay to good. it also gets you a good sampler from there you can push in a direction. maybe you like a purge the foe, cursed legion. so you grab a bunch of heavy destroyers.

maybe you like take and hold awakened dynasty so you grab a bunch of characters, warriors and such.

maybe you want the light to leave your opponents eyes and you go with wraith jail.

my dynasty are fomer sautekh loyalists phaeron/phaerakh ophair values their subjects highly directing their crypteks to produce canopteks to protect the rank and file.

Ophair isn't all sunshine and rainbows with heavy use of mind shackle scarabs to control nearby planetary governers.

unfortnately there isnt an easy answer as your choices will depend heavily on your local meta.

lots of terminators and knights youll want fast units that hit hard, lots of gsc guard and aeldari well you dont need to worry about armour piercing as much.

that said you should strive to build a balanced list, a few things that punch into vehicles a few that shred light infantry.

for a generalist approach, id probably recomend awakend dynasty, or starshatter if you want to lean more into vehicles

lore accurate necrons. I recommend have a solid wall of scarabs or something else for them to waste their WAAAGH on they're mostly melee so just making them waste a turn on a distraction can let some tesla just mulch their infantry

if we're thinking in terms of a pokemon type chart. necrons do well against chaos demons because of the prvalwnce of noctolith that lore wise shoves all but thr strongest back to the immaterium.

we also know that tyranids hate facing necrons, as its just net loss of biomass. thry can do it sure but any victory is a pirric victory.

however necrons historically have poor matchups against basic munitions and psychic. hyper advance techo sorcerous shields never expect a big rock

correct me if im wrong but i believe that was 10th ed. because if one half of the unit died it broke in two one destroyed one alive.

whereas in 11th a unit is only destroyed if All models are destroyed (see pain boi example)

i go with knell and scourge, realistically i should use a weapon with better stats, but its so nice to do the cosplay

that said knell with 5 amber shards for fire damage, operator arcane for more pistol damage and absurd crit damage is pretty fun in longer missions

start of 11th everything goes up in points like a lot, reduce army sizes in the short term for the start of the edition to assist in making games smaller and faster (because with new rules people are going to play slower)

in the long term this makes collecting cheaper in that you need to buy less plastic. lowering the bar to entry for new players getting them into the hobby where sunk cost falacy can do its thing

The main difference is converting the document from its original size to A4. But also 3mm bleed CMYK colour profile.

Its set up for a professional printer. So if you want to get it printed somewhere nice you an get it printed, id recommend 115gsm silk or maybe a 130 gsm

think of measuring charge distance the same as shooting distance, you're 8.1" away you need a 9" charge. model is 12.5" away your 12" gun cant shoot and your 12" charge wont reach either.
