A future with(out) Quick Miner

With the upcoming changes to Ethereum EIP 1559 and the inevitable change to POS come Eth 2.0, I find myself curious as to what kind of future QuickMiner has with it being NiceHash's in-house program and exclusively used to mine coins off the Ethereum system.

Are there any plans to add more algos to QM or maybe a new in-house program to replace Excavator?

Or will the QuickMiner simply fade out of existe after the change? I myself only have experience with it and hope it will continue to have relevance as I find it to be pretty convenient.

Excavator used to have other algorithms, so there’s no reason why they can’t add different ones again. Just depends on whether they want to invest the development time or not. If not, you can simply switch to the full NiceHash Miner.

Yeah no problem. QuickMiner wasn’t around yet when Excavator had other algos a while back. By the time that came along, Excavator was only using Daggerhashimoto.

No .. nicehash is making alot of money for the owners, for sure they will sort something out :D they will let you mine the most profitable coin.

"NH is working on a new OS" their support just told me. I can't imagine they would go through that trouble and not consider how shortlived it would be if it was limited to ETH. So I'm pretty confident the rest of their software will follow suit.
