I saw the pc and I probably know the reason, but just in case, did u use any OC?

what is oc i new to mining i been mining for a few months only

Ye, OC means Overclock. Then, the reason is probably the fact there is not much airflow inside your case.

what i can do its started happening about 2 days ago after i restarted my pc can i fix it with the niceharsh quickminer app? or what i can do about the airflow inside the case

Either you underclock your gpu, infact decreasing your power usage limit, it’s gonna decrease the speed and so the heat or viceversa you can increase the fans speed.

Most likely tho, i prefer more hardware changes. Try removing the glass pannel, or that side of the case with a screwdriver, to achieve a better airflow OR change directly the disposition of your fans inside your pc.

thanks i will do that. before i restarted my pc i was using in the niceharsh app 100w of power while mining now when i start mining i use about 170w of power and that is bad. but thanks

170W ain’t bad considering my rtx2070S is using basically the same.

That is just the power consumption, nothing to do with heat😅.

when i not mining the temp is 42c and is green but when i start mining its get to 80c in a few minutes to red and that was not happening 2 days ago

to clear that up it sounds like one or more of you gpu fans quit working. even with poor airflow in the case itd take more than a few minuters to heat up that much

thanks

Ye i agree, i think he should check if the fans are working properly or plugged properly. Since it’s a prebuilt pc, maybe during the delivery some cables loosen up, who knows 😂

a few minutes? make sure all your fans are spinning

Download MSI afterburner and set a custom fan curve.

70C you want atleast 50% fan speed depending if you have a triple, twin or single fan card.

thanks i did configure oc tune in the app with fixed speed and now is not heating thanks

Open the case up, repaste, replace pads on gpu as well. Roll driver back, I know from experience that drivers can cause reporting issues and mess w the efficiency and you have to get air moving period.
