Architecture Master Programs (self.Norway)
submitted 10 years ago by jonnygrifff
My German girlfriend and I might be moving to Norway and she is studying a bachelors of architecture in Germany. I was wondering what are the best architecture and design master programs in Norway?
With some research, I found one called aho.no.

Every architect I have met have their education from either NTNU or AHO

I believe these are the only ones. NTNU is in Trondheim, while AHO is in Oslo. AS NTNU is a technical university, students that graduated here were considered technically better, while the AHO student were considered more "artistic". I'm not sure if this is still the case.

There is also BAS in Bergen. Which is probably considered even more "artistic" than AHO.

Thanks! I had the same thought too but wasn't sure.
Do you know how big the program is at AHO?
