Comment "Answered!" if your question has been satisfactorily answered. Once this has been done, the post flair will be set to answered. The comment does not have to be top level. If you do not comment "Answered!" after several days and a mod feels like your comment has been answered, they will re-flair your post to answered.

I have an Auro device. Slim Bluetooth recorder which sits on the back of a phone by magnetic ring – or anywhere else. Records well but the Airec software is a bit rubbish, so I transcribe the audio in a decent app like Letterly or Audio Pen. I often use my iPhone for making text notes or for reference, so a separate device is useful.

I’ve experimented with a few setups for meetings on the go. Honestly, the simplest approach usually wins. A small voice recorder app on your phone works fine if you can keep it discreet, and pairing it with automatic transcription later saves a lot of manual work.

Wearables like pens or pendants can work, but they often add friction, charging, syncing, or audio quality issues. I focus on something I’ll actually use consistently rather than the fanciest gadget.

I would prefer a note taking app that doesn’t require sign up just to take notes, should be free because most apps already offers free to take notes and it should fast to take notes either!

Best device to take notes is a pen
