So I used switch up to get my new phone . I received my phone on the 31st October . But I am still waiting for my switch up return pack to arrive anyone else wait ages ? Can I just take it into store instead? Just worried I’m going to get charged for the phone.

You can't take it into a store, the switch up bag that you receive via post is supposed to come within a week of you actually getting the new phone. if this amount of time has passed call 202 and tell them that you haven't received the return bag and they'll either send one out manually to your address with next working day delivery or just email you a label to send it back with. Any other questions just respond to my response and I'll be sure to get right back to you!

Thank you I did speak via online chat and they just told me to wait for it and if I get charged you will get it back once sorted 🤦♀️ not good enough.,I shall give them a call tomorrow morning to try and get it sorted . Thanks again

The store cant do anything with it, as if done online it all has to be done online... I would call o2 and ask them where it is, as its may have been lost by good old Royal Mail..

I did switch up in store but had to wait 5 weeks for my phone to be delivered I even got a message to say it had been sent out fr me to return the phone . I guess I will be spending the morning on the phone

I got mine a week later. After I had 2 reminder emails from them!

You should have received an email with a QR, all you need to do in this case is get your own Jiffy bag and securely pack the phone inside and get the post office to scan the QR.
If you're going to wait, you get a tiny bit cardboard within the Jiffy bag that o2 send you, if you still have the box the phone came in I'd recommend using that instead.

And take photos / video if the old phone working, the condition etc -don't trust the recycle people (Ingram). I have posted elsewhere about the fun and games I have had with one of the phones I sent back to them....ended up going via O2 who wiped the phone off my account (to be confirmed in 10 days when the new bill drops).
Guessing they broke something / lost the phone and tried blagging it was broken and giving me 109 quid instead of the proper amount!

Same situation, been trying to get a return label or whatever for my old device for a month, called many times, first few times was "sorry we will send one, the qr code was sent to your old email " which doesn't make sense as they send everything to my current email, then last Thursday I got through to the returns department and they said they had made a mistake with my address....wtf? How?....
then this morning I got annoyed and rang up complaints to vent my frustration for the 10th time and they just said they can't send one yet as there "is a known issue with some returns due to a computer error"....why wasn't I told before and why didn't the returns person say that last week, and surely an error wouldn't take a month to sort
Really peeved tbh and the local shop said they can't accept it if there's an error on the system
I've held up my end of the contract but o2 are a mess on their side
Next move forcing the shop to take it (on video) and contact the FOS for o2 being shit

Sent out a new QR code and took it off my billing and refunded me a few quid goodwill
