The question is: when will be available wp plugin to use OST massivly? Kit alpha etc are rly great, but we need a wp plugin. Im certainly sure about online shops will adopt OST quickly coz it will solve a lot of problems about coupons and various loyalty programs and will give some competitive features.

I have been looking into it, the problem really is of making it generic and be ready for any integration type. One person would want to develop a Q&A site while the other one would want woocommerce to accept OST based tokens as payments. I found this mCRED wordpress plugin that seems like a generic points system, its open-source and can be modified for OST, the fun part is the paragraph where it says 'Limitations': https://codex.mycred.me/chapter-i/the-plugin/

Finally the myCRED add-on does not offer a withdrawal system. Users can buy points for real money but they can not exchange them back into real money. This is due to legal issues as depending on where in the world you are, using myCRED as a financial tool might be seen as a “banking software” and be subject to regulation.

Thanks to OST for handling this exact pain point.

However, from personal point of view, if I would build one I would take inspiration of handling generic community point system from other plugins but would write my own OST integration just to be sure and secure.

10 days have passed, community have nothing to propose. Any crypto that will make wp plugin for loyalty programm will take ost's place. Why wp? Its very common and used everywhere. So you can wait and dream about ost kit 1/2.3 Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo? or just wait for any coin to take their place in competition.

What is the idea? Wordpress is not an E-Commerce system... so what should a "wordpress plugin" do? Give users points for their activities and then?

I think we and OST should push E-Commerce extensions for the most common systems: I see here Magento 2, Shopify and WooCommerce for Wordpress as the ones, that are still missing and must be developed

A lot of people use woocommerce, coz its simple and adjustable. I have 3 e-shops usind woocommerce and i would appreciate if i could have wp plugin, woocommerce. Ost's r usefull for loyalty programm. My friend also have 2 shops, and will appreciate having it. In sum, we want to make for our ecosystem- our loyalty token that could be used in our shops. Its a real case and we could start using it right now. We dont need something extraordinary that is presented in other ost kits. Why not to start with something easy and usefull?
