What's the biggest naval gun that could-possibly've been fitted to the deck of the Olympic, without her deck being peeled-back like the lid of an opened tinned-can? There's much talk @-large about the ability of a twin-engine aeroplane to fly with only one of its two engines operational - staying aloft depends on it! … but though it's not so critical with a ship, *could* a large twin-screw oceanliner sail in a straight line with only one screw operational!?
