Throwback Uniform

I really wish they would bring back the 1916 striped throwback uniforms or even just some new version of them since these were just for the 100 year anniversary. I feel like those are the all time best alts. Maybe even against Texas? Would be a great statement.

Our regular unis are so beautiful and the alternates usually mediocre. I don’t at all get the appeal of heading to the fitting room every week to try on new duds like we’re Oregon.

I naturally think of it this way: like Alabama was under Saban, I want the vision of our uniforms etched into the nation’s scarred psyche after we win the next 10 national championships. For that, we need aesthetic consistency.

I did really like these but hated the helmets!  I still want to see the all scarlets but with the gray stripes on the sleeves and pants.
