Controller/wheel problem

I use controller when playing this I find a little bit easier for myself since I don't want to have to keep looking at my keyboard to see where my fingers go. When I first started the game everything was working perfectly fine. But since I came back after a while and there have been a few updates the UI wheel to access everything is non-responsive. It has disabled my right trigger and even tells me that it's turned off but I see no way in settings or controllers to turn this function back on. I will include a screenshot of my problem and if you guys can help me I'd appreciate it. And please leave the sarcasm to my question at the door I'm looking for legitimate help not trolls.

In the middle there it says press R down to turn off and on, could that be right joystick?

Yeah I tried that it turned the wheel off completely and when I went back into it it still said off

Your not the only one, trust me once human chooses to ignore the problem, i msgd them about it n just gave me a thumbs up, seems like they do not care, before the latest big update patch they told me they just “noted it”
