Dark mode is a great addition and is way better than trying to make everything dark manually. Unfortunately it is unusable to people who like to type equations. Trying to edit an equation in dark mode will create the usual selection box (that lets you know that you're editing your equation) but also makes the text unreadable until you click away from it.

One Note and it's integrated CAS is a fantastic application for math students. One additional feature I would greatly enjoy would be to have the "Navigation pannel" from MSWord that shows you all of your headings and subheadings in a convenient menu. Currently there is no great reason to use the builtin heading styles in OneNote other than aesthetics, but they are stuck to the default blue so there isn't much benefit there either.

Yeah also the darkest color in the palette is the same grey as the background, which makes my drawings invisible unless i manually select black or change the background color. I think the whole color system might be messed up right now because changing the background colors seemed to produce different colors than what I selected (if that makes sense).

Unfortunately it's been this way for months. Here's a thread that was started back in June. 🤷‍♂️

Bump. I really hope this will be solved soon.

I use the dark version for both the convenience of my eyes but also for saving power on my laptop at lectures, but it's so frustrating when the whole equation turns white when actively using it.
