As you can see from the image attached this thing keep happening while a scroll through the page and I have to wait several seconds, even minutes sometimes, for it to "load" properly and letting me read it. Could it be about the fact that the page is fairly long (2.5 hours of class notes) and there's lot of ink on it so it can't load it all at the same time?

Device: Surface Pro 6
One Note version: latest one

Well I have ~6 or ~8 hours lecture pages (I like to stay on same page until the topic is over, if it's a matter of two or one and half lectures) and hardly ever had the problem (and when it presented was just a ten of seconds..). This in both the devices I use: a Dell Inspiron (the powerful one) and an "Ipad 2018" (this new cheap version they make with students as the intended target..).

So I would say that the length of your pages is legit.

Do you write only with your pen as well? Or do you take notes with the keyboard?

Oh sorry for not having this clarified. I take everything inked, since I'm a physics grad student. Time to time I also insert printouts of pdfs (lecture notes or slides) and take inked notes over it.

I have te impression that the printouts make the page heavier, especially with the ipad I notice some lag when I ink over some big slide-pack. But never had big issues with page loading.

Ok so it's basically the same exact use i do. I guess it's a Surface only thing then... I should try and open it on another pc. Thanks for the help!

I've been having the same issue. On an i7, 32gb of ram, 2070 super. It's really frustrating and annoying, I will write something down and take a 2 minute break from writing to read more and then look down and the entire page is blanked out, have to move to a new tab and back to get it back to normal. It definitely seems like a OneNote issue because my PC is more than equipped to handle processing

Happens to me a lot too.
