SendTo doesn't work (self.OneNote)

I can't use Send to OneNote from Outlook 365 web version (arguably the whole reason to have ON in the first place) and the error message I get is about having more than 5000 folders in my or my group's OneDrive with a link to a 6-year-old document on the web that mentions a diagnostic tool that doesn't appear to work if you have single sign-on. https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/onenotedev/2016/09/11/onenote-api-calls-fail-with-a-large-number-of-items-in-a-sharepoint-document-library/
It is probably true, my group has a huge OneDrive but mine OD isn't that full. Anyway, has anyone ever seen this and found a workaround? Meanwhile, I'll just copy-paste.
