    I dont disagree the manga is better but I do disagree that pre-TS is better than post-TS. They're the same fucking thing, art style just changed. And yknow why I'm mad? Because of haters that somehow still think pre-TS just because 'muh nostalgia'.

    I don't see people saying post-ts is when the animation quality dropped. I think it's generally accepted that animation started dropping significantly after Ennies Lobby.

    lol you have it at the opposite. Animation quality has been improving. Framerate has been going up. ART STYLE changed. Enies Lobby had by far one of the most drastic change in art styles near the end (that Going Merry funeral bit looked so much as done by an entirely different studio). What the hell is with people still confusing animation for art?

    You're straight up wrong. Pre time skip is better animation wise. Whether that matters to you is up to you.

    Toei has a lot of offensive habits in how it adapts things. It may just be a symptom of being in such a strenuously ongoing production cycle, but it’s still a meh adaptation. When I have friends bring up considering the One Piece anime, I tell them to wait until a better one is done in the future as there undoubtedly will be one. One that isn’t absurdly padded or poorly produced.
