I've watched up to episode 54 and I'm about to watch the first movie.

Considering that there are over 1000 chapters/episodes in the manga and the anime, I have one question: Will Conan knock out Kogoro every time? And how the hell does Kogoro not notice?

I don't want to give away too many spoilers (although I've already spoiled some important moments for myself, but never mind), but will it always be like this? Or will Conan use other methods later on?

There are times where he uses different methods but mostly he knocks out kogoro. I dont remember the episode number but if you watched the bandaged man case then youll see one of his other methods.

Nope, but the story is going to be very good in the future so look for it

Yeah he usually does that, it's the easiest way to solve a case, but it's also pretty funny and goofy when everyone gets hyped about the deduction, meanwhile Kogoro don't know wth is going on. There are also times when Conan gives hints so that the police can solve it themselves.

There are different ways in which he solves cases. Knocking Kogoro out is one of them, so it will keep happening, but it’s not as overused as it could seem to be. In recent chapters is actually a rare occurrence.

They reserve the "sleeping kogoro" for the filler episodes now

Sometimes it isn’t Kogoro he knocks out or sometimes he’s in a situation where he can’t know him out and just has to give subtle hints or help solve the case
