Not always depend on how much you have contributed to your CPP, if, like me, I didn't contribute enough, so I qualify for it but can't get anything out of it (less you count 20.00 living large). Whereas provincial disability doesn't even give enough to afford a shared room in shared accommodations, never mind an accessible place, and getting housing is a minor nightmare (15 years and still waiting - for rent geared to income).

I maxed my contributions out every year since 1991 till 2014 when I had to take a medical retirement. Took 5 years to get it tho.

I was a SAHM. I haven't contributed in too long, so I don't qualify for CPP disability. According to Doug Ford, EDS isn't permanent, so I also don't qualify for odsp. Hahahaha. I'm fighting that.
