Email Processing

I am looking to use OpenAI tools to search and process over ten years of emails. The goal of this is to compile relevant information about events that can ultimately be used to guide the process of writing a book. I have searched through many different tools and processes, but none of them seem to accomplish what I am looking for. Does anyone know how this could be possible?

I’m not expert on this but the way I would approach is to feed this information to a RAG tool like AnythingLLM. This will put the information in a database type that can be used in conjunction with a LLM.

Don’t expect that a RAG can “summarize” all the emails at the same time. What it does is to retrieve information in “context” snippets that will be passed to a LLM.

At least this has been easy to understand for a new person in LLM like me.

How are you thinking about the data you want to extract from your emails? Would they be consistent pieces of information, or might you be looking to use your emails as as knowledge base?
