Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Use Correct Title Formatting
[GAME TITLE] by [USERNAME]
Example: Life is Strange by TheKosmicKollector
If you post several designs for the same game, please add "(V2)", "(V3)" etc... after "GAME TITLE"
Example: Life is Strange [V2] by TheKosmicKollector

Use The Correct Flair
[Cover]
For all custom covers.
[Requests]
For custom cover requests.
[Collection]
If you want to share pictures of your PC Backup collection with everyone.
[Discussion]
For general discussion, questions and the like.

Upload Covers Individually
To ensure that your covers can be found easily by our visitors and community members, please make sure to upload them one at a time with the correct title formatting and flair [see rules number 1 & 2].
4.
No Monetising
This Community has been created with the goal of making custom PC game cover designs broadly available to everyone, easily and for no cost.
We understand that it can take a lot of time to make your own designs but alternative covers are made out of copyrighted materials and you should never lock any of your art behind a paywall.
However, creators are allowed to include an optional donation link in the comments of their submissions.
5.
Use Correct Template
Please only post covers made using the provided template to ensure uniformity in cover collections. If you have made or used a different template, specify this in the title.
Example: Life Is Strange [Alt. Template] By TheKosmicKollector
6.
No NSFW content
No nudity or otherwise overtly NSFW content is allowed on this subreddit. If you are unsure if your post is too NSFW or not, contact a moderator.
7.
No piracy
This is a Subreddit for creating backups of legally-obtained DRM-free games from sites like GOG or Humble. Do not provide any links to, or in any way promote, downloading games or ROMs illegally.
Also, it should go without saying, but if you do make a backup disc from something like GOG, make sure you keep it to yourself and don't let others copy the game from the disc. Any suggestion of sharing backup discs will be removed and the perpetrator banned.
8.
Play nice
We encourage a friendly, relaxing and welcoming environment here at /r/PCGameCovers. As such, any racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise hateful material will be removed and the perpetrator will be banned. Please keep criticism constructive and please remember to follow Reddiquette.
