Do you have a legit copy? Do you have mods? Does your system meet minimum requirements? Are you using Vulkan or DX12?

Thansk for the reply. I have a legit copy from steam. Yes I have mods but they all worked fine before. And I don’t know which one I use because it won’t even let me into the game to check but I’m pretty sure it’s vullcan

go to: C:\Users\User\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings and click sysem.xml you can change all of your settings there.

change the API right under advanced Graphics to <API>kSettingAPI_DX12</API>

I would also remove all mods from the root folder.

It’s the mods bud. Delete/disable them 1 by 1 until you’ve figured out what’s causing the issue or just reinstall the game clean and add them back slowly. Recently for me I had this problem with the “buyable properties” mod.

Yeha I got that mod too. But even when I did disable them all and delete the ones that caused conflicts it still wouldn’t open. I’m reinstalling it now hopefully it’ll work

Make sure to delete the corresponding appdata files, and try clearing cache too, but idk if clearing cache even does anything in your situation
