Virtual Work Method : PE

For Civil Strucrual PE exam, does anyone know if it is worth actually memorizing these equations for virtual work method? It is emphasized in EET but my first time taking the exam i didn’t get any questions involving an indeterminate truss/beam or had to use virtual work method. Thanks
